In the past two years Matthew has developed a passion for photography. Matthew met Alt Rock Live in 2010 when he saw them photographing one of his favorite bands, Dashboard Confessional at the Paradise Rock Club. He then joined Alt Rock Live soon after and began to start photographing different shows. He has always enjoyed music and photography. In 2010 Matthew had the opportunity to see all of his favorite bands in concert: Dashboard Confessional, Linkin Park, Rise Against, 30 Seconds to Mars and Paramore.

Besides photography and music Matthew enjoys working for IDG Global Solutions which is the largest online technology media company in the world. He has been with IDG since 2010 and had the opportunity to travel to London and San Francisco. While in London he traveled all the way to The O2 by himself just to see Paramore. Matthew's all time favorite show was in the summer of 2011 at Warped Tour where he was just inches away from Hayley Williams, the lead singer of Paramore. Matthew also shoots portraits, engagements, weddings, maternity, newborns and adventure sports. Matthew really enjoys the thrill of capturing those quick images within the first three songs of any show. He has had some of his best concert photographs he has ever taken since he teamed up with Alt Rock Live.
